A World First: JAMES KETCHELL Completes Global Circumnavigation by Land, Air and Sea
What does it take to become the first person in history to circumnavigate the globe by land, air and sea?
On 13 June, Papillon Speakers’ James Ketchell sailed into Gosport to complete an extraordinary solo circumnavigation of the world by sea, adding to his previous journeys by bicycle and gyrocopter. In doing so, he became the first person ever to achieve this remarkable triple feat. It’s the latest milestone in an incredible career that has also seen James row the Atlantic Ocean, summit Mount Everest and complete what the media dubbed The Ultimate Triathlon. His story goes far beyond adventure, with a keynote that explores resilience, leadership and performing under pressure - lessons that resonate with organisations navigating uncertainty and change.
A huge congratulations to James on this historic achievement. We’re proud to represent him and look forward to audiences hearing the insights from this remarkable journey. To discover more about James’ keynote and current availability, click here:
New to Papillon: RACHAEL ROBERTSON’S Remarkable Rise to F1 Academy
We are delighted to be working with Rachel, one of the most exciting young talents in motorsport and a rising star in the 2026 F1 Academy Championship. Competing on the global stage alongside Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends, Rachel performs under extraordinary pressure as she races against the very best emerging drivers in the world.
What makes Rachel’s story so compelling is not just her rapid rise through the ranks, but how she got there. With no motorsport background, family connections or financial backing, she persuaded her father to take her karting at just 14 years old and has progressed at a pace rarely seen in the sport. From indoor karting track beginnings in Edinburgh to finishing fourth in her very first F1 Academy race in Las Vegas, Rachel’s journey is a powerful example of determination, self-belief and high-performance mindset. Today, she brings that same energy to the stage, sharing practical insights on resilience, confidence and performing when the stakes are highest. Endurance, Leadership & High Performance - MARK BEAUMONT
It has already been an extraordinary first half of the year for Mark Beaumont, highlighted by a Guinness World Record-breaking marathon in Chile, ongoing fundraising efforts with Doddie Aid, which has raised an incredible £2 million to support Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research, numerous recordings of The Endurance Podcast featuring an outstanding line-up of guests, and a packed speaking schedule taking him from Hungary to Switzerland and beyond - with much more still to come.
Mark Beaumont is one of the most compelling voices in high-performance leadership today, not because he talks about it, but because he has lived it at the extremes. He speaks to corporate audiences, leadership summits and workshops on resilience, purpose, teamwork and what it genuinely takes to perform at world-record level. What sets him apart as a leadership speaker is his belief that technical excellence alone is never enough; true leadership depends on communication, bringing others with you and turning expertise into real influence. That understanding was first formed in his teens, when he saw highly skilled skiers fail instructor exams simply because they could not explain their ability in a way others could learn from. That insight continues to shape everything he does today, from the stage to the world’s toughest endurance challenges. For Mark’s latest speaking availability and enquiries, click here:
New to Papillon : MARTIN BROOKS on the Power of Body Language
Body language is the hidden language we are all speaking and Martin Brooks helps audiences decode it. A keynote speaker, communications coach and author of Body Language Decoder, Martin explores how leaders can build trust, read situations with greater clarity and communicate with more confidence, credibility and influence.
What makes Martin particularly compelling is his ability to turn complex behavioural science into practical tools that can be used immediately in real-world business settings. Drawing on over 20 years of experience and research showing that effective gestures can significantly increase audience engagement, his sessions go far beyond theory. Martin equips delegates with actionable techniques to improve presence, persuasion and impact from the moment they leave the room, making his keynotes a valuable investment for organisations focused on communication and leadership effectiveness.
