Speakers for Pride - powerful stories of inclusion
Pride Month, celebrated in June, is a moment to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community - its history, resilience and the ongoing fight for equality. But more than just celebration, it’s also a time for meaningful conversations in the workplace - around identity, allyship and the importance of inclusive cultures.
Papillon Speakers are proud to feature three exceptional speakers whose stories, insights and lived experiences help organisations do exactly that:
Matt Lindley - Inclusion, Leadership & Mental Health
A former RAF Fast Jet pilot and one of the first openly gay pilots in the Armed Forces, Matt Lindley’s story is one of courage and transformation. From hiding his identity in a hostile environment to flying on The Queen’s Flight, Matt speaks candidly about the toll of exclusion and the power of inclusive leadership. His sessions blend lessons from aviation, mental health and high-performance culture - making him a compelling voice for any organisation looking to build psychological safety and true allyship at work.

His story of transition is filled with honesty, hope and powerful insight, especially in a time where trans rights are under intense scrutiny. Matt’s talks give teams a safe space to learn, ask questions and understand the lived realities behind the headlines. He challenges assumptions, inspires compassion and leaves audiences better equipped to support inclusion at every level.

Kate Richardson-Walsh - Championing Authenticity in Sport & Leadership
As the Olympic Gold-winning captain of Team GB Hockey - and one half of the first same-sex married couple to compete at the Olympics for Team GB - Kate Richardson-Walsh knows what it means to lead with authenticity. Her story is one of team culture, resilience and visibility and she speaks with warmth and purpose about being openly gay in elite sport. Kate’s talks are an inspiring reminder of what’s possible when we create environments where everyone can truly belong.
